Privacy Policy

Account info you provide (name, email, target role, career history), content you create in the app (resumes, narratives, applications), and standard product telemetry (page views, feature usage, error logs).

To deliver the Service, generate AI-assisted career artifacts on your behalf, surface matching job leads, send transactional and product emails you have opted into, and improve product quality.

Content you submit to AI features (resume bullets, narratives, job descriptions) is sent to AI model providers via our gateway to generate the requested output. We do not sell your inputs and do not use them to train third-party foundation models.

We share data with infrastructure subprocessors (hosting, database, email delivery, AI gateway) only as needed to run the Service. We do not sell personal data.

Account and artifact data is retained while your account is active. You can delete individual resumes, applications, and artifacts at any time from the relevant page.

You can update your profile, export resume artifacts as PDF/DOCX, unsubscribe from product emails from any email footer, and request full account deletion by emailing support@obvioushire.app.

We use row-level security on our database, encrypted transport (HTTPS), and role-based admin access. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected users of material incidents.
